The pricing and designing of pins is affected by many different factors. We at Sunshine Emblem & Decal, Inc. will guide you on what the best method to use is based on your particular needs. All pins are made with a metal base; the difference in types comes from what happens next. The most common types are soft enamel with an epoxy dome, offset printed with an epoxy dome, and solid metal with the design raised or etched to give it a 3D effect. The pins come with a backing that allows the wearer to attach it to their clothing. The most common used is a military clutch backing and is included in the price. Other types are available. Pricing is initially calculated by looking at the type of pin, quantity, the length of the longest side, backings, and number of enamel colors (if used).
