Sunshine Emblem & Decal, Inc. is located in downtown Hollywood, Florida. Hollywood is on the southeast coast of Florida midway between Miami to the south, and Fort Lauderdale to the north. This beautiful tropical setting has been our home since 1989.
When Sunshine Emblem & Decal, Inc. started in 1987, Paul Lefkowitz felt that he had the ability to offer a quality product, deliver it in a timely manner, and do so at highly competitive pricing which was often lower the norm. This is the way it was in 1987, and this philosophy continues to govern Sunshine Emblem & Decal, Inc.
Paul found that many of the youth and adult oriented organizations in America were extremely receptive to this new company and eagerly shared the word with their peers. The company grew rapidly by building a reputation of living up to its commitments and through word of mouth advertising. He quickly discovered that he needed to expand his art department to meet the demand and hired extra artists. Joan Lefkowitz, his wife, joined a few years later and assumed responsibility for handling customer needs and management of the company. Over time both of their adult sons joined them at Sunshine Emblem & Decal, Inc. As part of the sales team, Jeff is instrumental in developing new customers while working with our present client base. Upon joining the "family business", Sam became the licensing manager and took over responsibility for developing the new web site.
The entire staff understands the importance of our company philosophy and objectives. These objectives, which still epitomize Sunshine Emblem & Decal, Inc., all begin with customer service. The artwork that we present to you for approval is not just a "pretty picture"; it represents 20 years of knowing and designing what can be successfully constructed. We have a policy of proofing every order with a fresh set of eyes so that no detail will be taken for granted. When our factories have completed a prototype of the emblem, pin, or other product, it is sent to us as a high resolution scan for our approval. Another proofer inspects the scan for accuracy, appearance, and all other relevant information. If at that point something does not look right to us, it is rejected and another prototype must be made. This process will be repeated as often as necessary in order for us to present you with the best possible product. Of course, all of these steps are performed in sufficient time to allow you to have your finished items as scheduled.
If perchance a mistake does get through our scrutiny, you can always count on Sunshine Emblem & Decal, Inc. to correct the problem. This may mean redoing the job, or it may mean discounting the cost; we do whatever is most practical for you, the client. We will never try to explain away a mistake, or try to back away from our responsibility. We pledge this to you.
We are very much aware that some products made for youth and adult organizations are restrictive in nature, and are being produced solely for those folks who earn the privilege of owning them. You can rest assured that no product will find its way on to an online auction site through us, or through our factories. It is instilled into our staff and our resources that there is zero tolerance for violating this principle. Zero!
We survive and thrive because of our reputation. We are proud to have become a licensee of Boy Scouts of America® and licensed to make emblems, pins, and other ancillary items for them. This license was granted after a lengthy and intensive application was deemed worthy. We believe this, too, speaks loudly for the integrity and the capability of Sunshine Emblem & Decal, Inc.
